About National Legal Rights Consortium, WICCI
The National Legal Rights Consortium is part of the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI), representing women professionals and entrepreneurs across India. WICCI pro-actively engages women from diverse backgrounds in leadership, advocacy, business, and social progress.
About the Rajasthan Legal Rights Consortium Membership
Applications are invited for membership in the State Legal Rights Consortium for the 2025–26 term. The consortium aims to:
- Advocate for legal rights protection and improvement at the state level
- Raise legal awareness and empower the public
- Provide legal aid through a network of community advocates, including pro bono initiatives
- Collaborate with legislators and government agencies to influence sound law and justice
- Monitor and report violations of rights and address injustices
Mode of Membership
- Hybrid (combining physical and virtual participation)
Eligibility
- Applicants must be women
- Must be a resident of Rajasthan or studying at an institution in Rajasthan
- Law students at Bar Council of India-recognized universities/colleges
- Prior internship experience with law firms, organizations, or advocates
- Practical experience in social media, PR, or graphics/design (Adobe, Canva preferred)
Role as Member
- Collaborate with President/Vice President and other council leaders to shape strategies and organizational vision
- Lead and participate in community outreach and educational campaigns
- Organize and develop policy, recommendations, public-private partnerships, and advocacy proposals
- Interface with government, industry, and community leaders to promote Consortium missions
- Support ongoing legal reform and collective rights advancement in Rajasthan
Tenure
- 1 Year
- Certificates will only be provided after successful completion of the tenure
