About the Internship
Marriott International offers a corporate internship program that provides students with an enriching and memorable learning experience. Eligibility
- Currently enrolled in a university or hotel school degree program.
- Preference for undergraduates specializing in hospitality-related fields.
- Considered for related disciplines such as business for specific opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a group.
- Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects.
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills, creativity, and innovation.
Technical Skills
- Application of system knowledge pragmatically.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Perl, SQL, Python, Swift.
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Access.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, analytics, technology, or hospitality management preferred.
- Core education should include financial studies in analysis, marketing, international business, and managerial finance.
Responsibilities
- Assist Compliance teams in monitoring and improving control environments and operational effectiveness for hotels.
- Prepare reports and tools related to fraud prevention and detection.
- Support development of creative training resources and suggest improvements.
- Generate new ideas to promote Compliance-related messages and topics.
Additional Requirements
- Must be a Mumbai resident, Indian Permanent Resident, or hold a valid student pass.
- Eligible undergraduate from a Mumbai-registered university program or graduate from a university in Maharashtra.
- Commitment to a six-month internship.
- College No Objection Certificate required.
