About Indian Constitutional Law Review (ICLRQ)

Indian Constitutional Law Review (ICLRQ) is a reputable bi-annual law journal dedicated to publishing qualitative research on contemporary developments in Indian constitutional, administrative, and comparative constitutional law. Managed by an editorial and peer-review board, ICLRQ welcomes submissions from law and political science students, academics, practitioners, and judicial officers.

Eligibility

  • Undergraduate/graduate students pursuing law or political sciences are eligible.
  • Candidates must show clear interest in constitutional, administrative, or related legal areas and align with the journal’s mission.
  • Applications for Senior Editor: Students in 3rd/4th year of 5-year law degree, 2nd/3rd year of 3-year law degree, or LLM students.
  • Applications for Member Editor: Students in 1st–3rd year of 5-year law degree, 1st/2nd year of 3-year law degree, or LLM students.

Selection Criteria and Process

  • Two-stage process: screening of applications and telephonic interviews (where required).
  • Selection based on:
    • Interest in constitutional law, comparative constitutionalism, and relevant social issues
    • Editorial and research inclination
    • Familiarity with academic journals/editorship
    • Leadership and vision (required for Senior Editor applicants)

Tenure & Stipend

  • One-year editorial board membership (mid-Dec 2025 to mid-Dec 2026)
  • Involvement in two journal editions and additional editorial activities
  • Outstanding editors may receive a quarterly stipend from the publisher
