About the Internship

NFPRC is seeking law interns for its Legislative Research Team under the Land Reforms Project. The internship offers hands-on experience in high-impact policy research and legislative reforms focusing on land and property law and is an excellent opportunity for those interested in public policy and legal research.

Work Profile

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of land and property laws, rent control frameworks, and state-specific land regimes across India
  • Draft research notes, case summaries, and documentation supporting model legislation and reform proposals
  • Compile and manage legal datasets for comparative analyses
  • Track legislative business in Parliament and State Assemblies relevant to land and property law

Eligibility

  • Law students or recent law graduates with a strong academic record
  • Demonstrated interest in property law, land reforms, or public policy
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills; attention to detail
  • Proficiency in English
  • Familiarity with legal databases and office productivity tools

Location

Hybrid (Noida): Remote research combined with on-site work as required

Duration

2 months (possibility of extension based on performance)

Stipend

Rs. 10,000 per month (potential for revision depending on performance)
