It features Academicians Corner, Student Corner, and Interview Corner, accepting papers, book reviews, case comments, articles, and policy reviews on a rolling basis twice yearly. DNLU holds exclusive copyright over publications.
About the Reviewer Role
The journal seeks reviewers to maintain academic integrity through rigorous peer review of submissions. Reviewers evaluate originality, significance, and contribution, ensuring transparency and fairness in the evaluation process.
Submission Categories & Word Limits
Interview Corner (Professionals/Scholars): Interviews with eminent figures in law/policy.
Academicians’ Corner (Academics/Researchers):
- Long Articles: 3,500–10,000 words
- Short Articles: 1,200–3,500 words
- Case/Legislation Comments: Up to 2,000 words
- Book Reviews: 1,000–1,500 words
Students’ Corner (UG/PG Students): Same formats and limits as Academicians’ Corner.
Indicative Sub-themes
- Customary/Indigenous legal systems, restorative justice, environmental law.
- Dharmaśāstra, Nyāya, Mīmānsā in modern interpretation.
- Legal pluralism, Indigenous knowledge in global constitutionalism.
- Narrative jurisprudence, cultural narratives in legal reasoning.
Submission Guidelines
- Include cover letter with author/interviewer details, institutional affiliation, contact info, and theme/topic.
- Maximum 3 authors (first author + up to 2 co-authors).
- No changes post-publication; inform board of designation changes during processing.
