Square Circle Clinic, a leading criminal justice initiative under NALSAR University of Law, operates offices in New Delhi, Pune, Nagpur, and Hyderabad. The clinic provides pro bono defence for death row inmates and undertrials while conducting research in forensics, mental health, torture, and legal aid.
About the Internship
The clinic offers a robust internship program providing meaningful exposure to criminal justice issues in India. Internships are accepted on a rolling basis with a structured policy for full-time and part-time engagement.
Eligibility
Open to students enrolled in UG/PG programs in law, humanities, social sciences, psychology, psychiatry, or media & communication. Preference given to listed disciplines.
Stipend
- Full-time (per 4 weeks): ₹10,000
- Part-time: ₹5,000
Duration & Mode
- Full-time: 4–12 weeks
- Part-time: Minimum 12 weeks
- Location: New Delhi, Pune, Nagpur
- Mode: In-person preferred; remote only in extraordinary circumstances
