The National Legal Rights Consortium (NLRC) operates under the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI), India’s premier National Business Chamber for Women. WICCI represents women entrepreneurs, businesswomen, and professionals across diverse sectors of industry, economy, and society.

About the Membership Opportunity

Delhi Legal Rights Consortium (under NLRC-WICCI) invites applications for 2025-26 State Legal Rights Consortium membership. Open exclusively to female law students passionate about promoting and protecting rights. Each state consortium includes minimum 20 members, a Vice President, and President.

Key Objectives

  • Advocate for legal rights reforms at state level.
  • Raise public awareness about rights and empower citizens.
  • Provide pro bono legal assistance through advocate networks.
  • Engage legislators and government agencies for law creation/amendment.
  • Monitor rights violations and report abuses.

Mode & Tenure

  • Mode: Hybrid.
  • Tenure: 1 year.

Eligibility

  • Female law students from BCI-recognized universities/colleges in Delhi (or Delhi residents).
  • Prior experience interning with legal firms, organizations, or advocates.
  • Experience in social media, public relations, graphics/visual content creation.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Adobe, Canva.

Role as Consortium Member

  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic vision, multi-year roadmap, and policy recommendations.
  • Lead community education/outreach, public-private partnerships, and advocacy with government/industry.
  • Shape unified strategies, foster team engagement, and drive high-impact initiatives.
