About the Opportunity
Nyaaya seeks a motivated intern based in Karnataka to assist the Karnataka Programme Manager with coordination and execution of the Samvidhaan Fellowship and related activities. The 3-month internship offers mentorship and potential extension based on performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute the Samvidhaan Fellowship programme.
- Provide administrative/logistical support: scheduling, documentation, reporting, stakeholder coordination.
- Support legal research for awareness programmes and partners.
- Assist on-ground activities (workshops, meetings, field visits).
- Handle documentation, data management, and internal communications.
Eligibility Criteria
- Undergraduate/postgraduate law or social science students interested in access to justice, women’s/children’s rights.
- Fluency in English and Kannada (written/spoken); strong writing, research, organizational skills.
- Project management abilities, proactive mindset, willingness to travel within Karnataka (reimbursed).
- Prior experience in programme coordination, legal research, fieldwork, or social sector preferred.
Stipend, Mode & Duration
- Stipend: ₹7,500/month + experience certificate.
- Mode: Offline (Karnataka-based, no daily office; travel within state).
- Duration: 3 months (extendable).
