About the Job
JioStar seeks a Senior Executive – Legal (Sports) for its Sports Legal Team within Legal & Regulatory – Contract Management. The role handles sports media rights contracts, operational support, and advisory in a high-volume media environment.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognised university.
- 2–4 years relevant experience.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills for fast-paced settings.
- Expertise in contracts and IP laws.
Responsibilities
- Review/interpret sports media rights/slot sale agreements; provide legal analysis/summaries.
- Handle tender/media rights documents for sports properties.
- Support business with operational queries, rights analysis, time-sensitive projects (bids, AI activations).
- Maintain contract trackers; draft/review talent, endorsement, agency, sub-licensing, distribution, ad sales, service agreements.
- Collaborate across legal/business/operational teams; advise on contract/IP law, copyright, GenAI developments.
