
About the Opportunity
Ministry of Women and Child Development offers internships where interns analyze and draft compliance mechanisms for statutes like Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005, POCSO Act 2012, and Juvenile Justice Act 2015. Interns research constitutional equality principles (Articles 14–15) and contribute to litigation strategies protecting vulnerable populations through inter-agency policy coordination.
Eligibility
Women scholars, students, social activists, and teachers from non-tier-I cities and rural parts of India enrolled in or associated with any university, academic, or non-academic institution.
Age Limit
21 to 40 years.
Number of Interns
Maximum 20 interns per batch.
Duration
4–12 weeks (typically 8 weeks).
Mode and Location
Onsite at Ministry headquarters in New Delhi and various regional offices.
Stipend
₹20,000 per month.
