About the Opportunity
Bangalore International Arbitration Centre (BIAC) through BAC Academy offers internship programme to promote young legal professionals with hands-on understanding of arbitration and mediation. Interns gain exposure to real-world proceedings, bridging academic theory and practical ADR application at BIAC’s two state-of-the-art arbitration halls in Bangalore.
Eligibility
Current law students enrolled in accredited Indian law schools (1st to 5th year) with strong interest in Arbitration, Mediation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Full-time and part-time applicants welcome.
Duration
Flexible throughout the year, tailored to academic schedules.
Mode and Location
Primarily offline at BIAC, Bangalore; hybrid/remote options available for virtual participation in sessions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Observe/assist live arbitration/mediation sessions (in-person/hybrid); research, case preparation, drafting; learn from arbitrators, retired judges, practitioners; understand institutional/ad hoc arbitration complexities; discuss dispute resolution aspects; contribute to arbitration content/research/legal analysis.
