About the Opportunity
National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare offers internships providing exposure to public health policy-making, HIV/AIDS prevention programs, and Government of India functioning.
Eligibility
Undergraduate students (after 2 years completed), postgraduate, M.Phil., PhD students from recognized universities. Preference to candidates with strong academics, research experience, HIV/AIDS related projects.
Duration
Minimum 6 weeks, maximum 3 months.
Location
NACO offices, New Delhi. Outstation candidates arrange own accommodation.
Stipend
Rs. 8,000 per month upon successful completion and internship report submission.
Roles and Responsibilities
Research and data analysis; policy/programme evaluation; field visits; report writing; participation in NACO division activities.
Documents Required
Passport-size photographs; valid ID proof; college/university approval letter; relevant academic documents.
