
About the Opportunity
Hikmat Helping Hands Foundation (HHHF) is a Section 8, not‑for‑profit grassroots NGO working to empower marginalised communities across India through legal aid, social awareness, education, and poverty‑alleviation initiatives. The 30‑day semi‑virtual internship offers hands‑on experience in human rights, legal‑aid, and public‑policy work with flexible weekly hours.
Eligibility
- Current undergraduate or postgraduate students
- Individuals with a passion for human rights, social justice, public policy, or legal aid
Duration and Batches
- Batch 1: 1 June 2026 to 30 June 2026
- Batch 2: 1 July 2026 to 30 July 2026
Workload
Flexible workload, approximately 10–12 hours per week in a semi‑virtual mode (combination of remote and local field activities).
Application Deadlines
- Batch 1 deadline: 28 May 2026
- Batch 2 deadline: 25 June 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Draft policy briefs on legal issues affecting marginalised groups.
- Plan and execute virtual awareness campaigns on fundamental rights and social‑justice themes.
- Organise 2–3 outreach visits in your neighbourhood or an area of convenience to spread awareness of fundamental rights.
- Undertake any other assigned tasks as required by HHHF.
