About the Opportunity
The School of Public Policy, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is hiring a Research Associate for one or more projects in Labour Economics with Dr. Zahra Siddique and Dr. Se Kyu Choi. The role involves working with large-scale datasets, including online job postings and official surveys, to study technology-driven shifts in labour demand, skills, and worker-firm matching across local labour markets.

6 months, with possibility of extension up to 24 months, subject to performance and funding.
Salary
INR 47,790–62,350 plus HRA @ 30%, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Reporting To
Dr. Sugat Chaturvedi, Dr. Se Kyu Choi, and Dr. Zahra Siddique.
Key Responsibilities
- Data cleaning and econometric analysis in Stata.
- Preparing tables, figures, and visualizations using LaTeX.
- Conducting literature review and supporting presentations and dissemination material.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Economics; outstanding bachelor’s degree holders may also be considered.
- Proficiency in Stata and LaTeX; knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Experience with data cleaning and handling large datasets.
- Interest in Labour Economics and motivation to learn and carry out econometric analyses.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
