About the Opportunity
The Esya Centre’s Digital Policy Fellowship offers hands-on opportunities for research and stakeholder engagement in digital policy areas such as AI regulation, data protection, and platform governance. The fellowship is designed for final-year college students or young professionals who want to sharpen their policy research and analysis skills.
Duration
1 month, in July 2026.
Location
2 days per week in person in New Delhi.
Stipend
INR 10,000.
Learning Opportunities
- Author a peer-reviewed research output to be published by the Esya Centre.
- Conduct research on platform governance, AI regulation, digital antitrust, and data protection.
- Gain exposure to survey-based primary research and data-driven analysis.
- Receive mentorship and feedback from senior researchers and external experts.
- Attend and participate in stakeholder events hosted by government agencies, civil society organisations, and industry bodies.
Application Requirements
- One-page CV.
- Statement of Purpose of up to 500 words.
- Solo-authored writing sample of up to 1000 words on a contemporary policy issue.
