About DIBD
Digital India Bhashini Division under MeitY launched the National Language Translation Mission — Bhashini — to advance digital inclusion by overcoming language barriers using natural language technologies. The mission was inaugurated during Digital India Week 2022 in Gujarat by Hon’ble Prime Minister.
Eligibility
• Indian students currently enrolled in a recognised Indian university with minimum 60% marks in their latest completed degree
• Applicants should have completed at least 2 years of their degree
• For legal internship: must be pursuing or have completed LL.B.
• Preference to candidates with prior internship experience, strong academics or relevant exposure
• Candidates from other domains may also be considered based on organizational needs
Responsibilities
• Assigned tasks may involve assisting legal, research or operational teams
• Interns are expected to follow office hours (10 AM to 6 PM)
• Each intern will be assigned a mentor from DIBD
• Minimum internship duration is 2 months, extendable to 3 months based on performance
