About the Opportunity
The Centre for Labour Law Research and Advocacy (CLLRA) at National Law University, Delhi invites applications for the roles of Research Associate (Full-Time) and Field Investigator (Part-Time) under the N-REG-funded project titled: “Addressing Vulnerabilities of Platform Beauty Workers at Doorstep: Reinventing Labour Law Framework.”
The project is an interdisciplinary empirical investigation into the nature of employment arrangements and bargaining conditions of platform-based beauty workers in Delhi.
About the Centre
• CLLRA is a dedicated initiative of NLU Delhi to reassert the constitutional vision of “decent work for all” through legal research, advocacy, and outreach.
• It emphasizes interdisciplinary analysis of labour issues and promotes meaningful engagement with ground realities and policy paradigms.
Responsibilities
Research Associate:
• Drafting and documentation related to the research project
• Coordinating doctrinal and empirical research activities
• Supporting field work, analysis, and overall project execution
Field Investigator:
• Conducting and managing field-level data collection
• Transcribing field interviews and assisting with empirical research inputs
Eligibility
Research Associate:
• Postgraduate in Law or Social Sciences
• Minimum TWO peer-reviewed publications
• Preferred: Prior experience in empirical research
Field Investigator:
• Graduate with at least 3 years’ experience in empirical fieldwork
Compensation
• Research Associate: ₹35,000/- per month (Consolidated)
• Field Investigator: ₹20,000/- (One-time for one-month engagement)
