About the Opportunity
National Law University, Odisha invites applications for the posts of Research Assistant and Research Associate under the ICSSR Major Research Project (2024–2025) titled: “Navigating the Platform Economy: Analysing Challenges and the Need for a Comprehensive Policy Framework.” These are full-time fieldwork and deskwork-based positions.
Eligibility
• Research Assistant
• Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Education, Law, or related fields with at least 55% marks
• Preference for candidates pursuing M.Phil./Ph.D.
• Desirable: Academic research and fieldwork experience
• Familiarity with survey tools and data handling
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace
• Basic knowledge of SPSS or Excel for data analysis
• Strong communication skills
• Research Associate
• Postgraduate in Law, Social Sciences, or related discipline with at least 55% marks
• NET/M.Phil./Ph.D. preferred or 2+ years research experience
• Familiarity with primary and secondary datasets
• Proficiency in tools like SPSS, STATA, or others
• Publication in reputed journals
• Strong writing, data analysis, and reporting skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google tools
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork capabilities
