About the Opportunity
Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), under the Government of NCT of Delhi, is inviting applications for the post of Legal Advisor on deputation basis. The role involves high-level legal advisory responsibilities, litigation management, and guidance on matters of labour laws, transport laws, and claims adjudication.
Eligibility
• Degree in Law from a recognized university
• Either:
• A practicing Advocate with 12 years’ experience in Civil and Criminal Courts, or
• 12 years’ Judicial Service, or
• 12 years’ experience of legal work in any Government Department/concern
• Desirable:
• Experience in cases before Labour Tribunals & Motor Accident Claims Tribunal
• Strong knowledge of Labour Laws
Responsibilities
• Providing legal advice to DTC on policy, contracts, and disputes
• Representing/assisting DTC in courts, tribunals, and statutory bodies
• Overseeing compliance with labour and transport-related laws
• Drafting and vetting of legal documents, agreements, and notices
