

INTERNSHIP: Voluntary Internship at Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) – ₹10,000/₹5,000 Honorarium [Rolling Applications]

• The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) is an institution under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
• It serves as a think-tank and centre of excellence to support corporate sector growth through a multi-disciplinary approach.
• It offers capacity building and advisory services to the government, statutory authorities, and the private sector.
About the internship
• Full-time voluntary internship with various IICA verticals including Schools and Centres such as Corporate Law, Competition Law & Market Regulation, Finance, Corporate Governance, CSR, Sustainability, Insolvency & Bankruptcy, MSMEs, Business & Human Rights, and more.
• Designed for students and young professionals to gain exposure in areas such as Corporate Laws, Competition Policy, CSR, Corporate Governance, Finance, E-Governance, Insolvency Law, Sustainability, MSMEs, and related subjects.
Eligibility
• Full-time student pursuing:
• Three/Five-year law degree (final-year students preferred).
• UG/PG in Economics, Commerce, Finance, Management, Library Science, Social Work, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Business Environment, IT/Computer Science, Development Studies, Public Administration, or Law.
• Professional courses like CA, CWA, or CS.
• Any other course approved by the Internal Selection Committee.
Duration
• Normally one month (from 1st to last working day of the month).
• Can be extended up to 3 months based on recommendation.
• May start on any day depending on requirements.
• Primarily at IICA Campus, IMT Manesar, Gurugram; field/non-residential internships possible.
Number of interns
• Limited to 30 per month with a maximum of 3 interns per IICA vertical.
Stipend
• ₹10,000 per month for residential internships.
• ₹5,000 per month for non-residential internships.
• Some internships may be unpaid based on Internal Screening Committee recommendations.
Duties of interns
• Engage in research, capacity building, programmes, and projects.
• Work under a Guide/Supervisor within the assigned IICA vertical.
• Submit project deliverables, make presentations, and adhere to IICA’s work ethics and hours.
• No leave allowed except in unavoidable circumstances (with period extension).
Application procedure
• Submit Form A along with a recommendation from the Head of the Institution to HR Department at hr@iica.in.
• Applications sent directly to IICA verticals will not be entertained.
• Incomplete applications or those without institutional recommendation will be rejected.

Certificate
• On successful completion, interns receive a certificate and grading.
• Exceptional work graded A+/A may be published on the IICA website or in publications.
