About the Position
National Law University, Jodhpur invites applications for the position of Research Assistant on a contractual basis for an initial period of 12 months, extendable based on performance and project needs. The Research Assistant will be engaged with the Centre of Excellence for Research and Applications (CERA). This offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with research aptitude and interest in law and allied disciplines.
Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Law, Data Science, or allied disciplines with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as of the closing date of application (relaxation as per university norms).
- Desirable:
- Research aptitude with strong analytical and writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, statistical or qualitative research tools, database management.
- Prior academic or policy research experience preferred.
Remuneration and Nature of Engagement
- Consolidated Remuneration: ₹50,000 per month.
- Contractual engagement co-terminus with the project.
- No claim for a regular appointment arises from this engagement.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, executing, and documenting research studies of CERA.
- Conduct field research, data collection, and analysis as required.
- Prepare research reports, policy briefs, and academic publications.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for Centre activities and outreach.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the University authority.
