Celina Jaitly has filed a domestic violence complaint against her husband Peter Haag in a Mumbai court, seeking ₹50 crore in compensation for continuous abuse including cruelty, manipulation, and physical violence. Along with damages for suffering, loss of income, and property, she has also sought ₹10 lakh per month as maintenance, directions restraining Haag from alienating shared assets, the return of her jewelry and possessions, and an order barring him from entering their shared home.

Jaitly and Haag married in 2011 in Austria and have three children. The complaint alleges that Haag prevented Jaitly from working post-marriage, took control of her assets and finances while she was suffering severe depression after the death of their newborn and her parents, effectively robbing her of financial independence and dignity.

The matter was heard before a judicial magistrate in Andheri on November 21, who issued notice to Haag. The next hearing is scheduled for December 12. Jaitly is represented by a legal team from Karanjawala & Co and Mumbai lawyer Arpan Rajput.
