About the Speakers for the Course

Prof. Amit Singh

Mr. Amit Pratap Singh is an Assistant Professor in Business Laws at NLIU, Bhopal since 2019 & Visiting Academic Fellow at the University of Warwick, School of Law, England. He has prior experience at Amity Law School, Delhi, specializing in competition and investment law. He also contributed to corporate insolvency policy and regulations at the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI). He has also contributed to legislative drafting for the State of Madhya Pradesh.

Mr. Deval Garg

Deval Garg is an Associate at Spice Route Legal, Specializing in General Corporate, M&A, Private Equity (PE), and Venture Capital (VC). He provides expertise in contract negotiation and legal advisory services. Mr. Deval previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at NLU, Odisha and has completed internships with Spice Route Legal, IndusLaw, and Trilegal. With a passion for corporate law and entrepreneurship he offers valuable insights into legal practices shaping the business world.

Ms. Megha Mehta

Megha Mehta is a Capital Markets lawyer. She was part of the legal counsel team on IPOs, including Ola Electric. She holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, earning distinctions like the Writing Prize in Law and Society in the Muslim World. Megha also served as a Judicial Law Clerk to Justice M.M. Shantanagoudar at the Supreme Court of India, contributing to key rulings, including the Sabarimala reference. She graduated Rank 2 from NLSIU’s B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program with six gold medals.
