Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), established in 2005 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, provides undergraduate and postgraduate legal education. The university is a leading institution for legal studies and research in India.

About the Journal Committee

The Journal Committee promotes legal research and writing through annual peer-reviewed publications: RMLNLU Law Review and RMLNLU Journal on CMET Law. It also runs The RMLNLU Law Review blog for contemporary legal discourse.

About the Journal

The RMLNLU Journal on Communication, Media, Entertainment & Technology Law (Volume XIII) is a student-edited, peer-reviewed, theme-based annual publication. It fosters discourse on contemporary issues in media law and allied fields of communications, entertainment, and technology.

Call for Papers

Submissions welcome from law students, academicians, and legal professionals worldwide in these categories:

• Articles: 5,000–7,000 words (contemporary issue evaluation).
• Case Notes/Comments: 2,000–3,000 words (judgments/legislation analysis).
• Book Reviews: 2,000–3,000 words (innovative literature evaluation).
• Essays: 4,000–5,000 words.
  Topics must relate to media law and allied fields; adhere to word limits (excluding abstract ~10% of article and footnotes).

Submission Guidelines

Content Formatting:

• Title: Bold, Underlined, Uppercase, Size 16, Centre Aligned.
• Headings: Bold, Uppercase, Size 14, Left Aligned.
• Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing, 1″ margins, Justified.
  Footnotes: Times New Roman, 10 pt, 1.0 spacing, Left Aligned, OSCOLA (4th ed.) – no endnotes/speaking footnotes.
  General Instructions: Original/unpublished work; max 2 co-authors (not for book reviews/case notes); cover letter in email body only; manuscript named after author(s); subject: ‘Article/Essay/Case Comment/Book Review for Volume XIII’.

Email manuscript (.doc/.docx) to cmet.rmlnlu@gmail.com. Only one submission per author/team; first received considered if multiple.

Submission Deadline & Review

• Deadline: March 3, 2026, 11:59 PM.
• 3-stage review process over 45 days; status updates at each stage.
