Google is offering an exciting opportunity for legal professionals to join their India Legal Team as a Legal Counsel.
Minimum Qualifications
• JD, LL.B., or equivalent degree or practical experience.
• Enrolled into the bar and in good standing, or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., registered in-house counsel) in the relevant state.
• At least 2 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or a reputable law firm.
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to work independently with limited administrative support.
• Strong time and task management skills, with experience handling both complex legal issues and routine matters.
• Familiarity with Google products and a broader understanding of the tech ecosystem.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
About the Role
As part of the India Legal Team, you’ll provide strategic legal advice on a variety of matters impacting Google’s operations in India and the surrounding region. You’ll work closely with executive counsel and cross-functional teams, helping shape our product and commercial strategies while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
