Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Professor (Law)
• Master’s degree in relevant subject with at least 55% marks
• Must have cleared NET/SET/SLET or hold Ph.D. under UGC norms (2009 or 2016 regulations)
• Candidates with a foreign Ph.D. from a top 500 ranked university (QS/THE/ARWU) are also eligible
• Candidates with pre-2009 Ph.D. registration must fulfill all five conditions (degree in regular mode, external evaluation, open viva, 2 publications with at least 1 refereed, and 2 seminar presentations)
Associate Professor (Law)
• Ph.D. in relevant discipline
• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent
• Minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals
• Research Score: Minimum 75 (as per UGC Appendix II, Table 2)
Professor (Law)
• Ph.D. in relevant discipline
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience (Assistant/Associate Professor level or equivalent research institutions)
• Minimum 10 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals
• Research Score: Minimum 120 (as per UGC Appendix II, Table 2)
• OR, an outstanding professional with 10+ years of experience and a Ph.D. with significant contributions to the field (with documentary proof)
