National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP) is a cross-disability, non-profit organisation that works as an interface between the Government, industry, international agencies, and the voluntary sector to further the empowerment and employment of persons with disabilities in India.
About the Internship
NCPEDP is hiring interns to support impactful work in disability rights and inclusion, working closely with the team on ongoing projects. The roles are focused on research and stakeholder engagement in two key areas: Research & Outreach and Legal Aid.
Role Areas & Key Tasks
- Research & Outreach: Provide research support for ongoing projects, compile stakeholder information, and assist in drafting reports and presentations.
- Legal Aid: Support NCPEDP’s legal aid work for persons with disabilities, including research on disability rights laws and documentation for legal assistance.
Preferred Background
- Experience or interest in academic/research/public writing for research and outreach roles.
- Law or public policy background for legal aid work, with a strong inclination towards disability rights and social impact.
