• The Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs, and Trademarks (CGPDTM) administers intellectual property laws in India.
• It promotes innovation, protects IPR, and supports research and development.
About the internship
• The IPR Internship Programme is offered by CGPDTM under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
• It aims to provide practical exposure to intellectual property laws and administration.
Eligibility
• UG/PG students in Law, Science, Engineering, and related fields (who have completed their course).
• Research scholars with an interest in IPR.
• Professionals seeking exposure to IPR frameworks.
Duration
• Online: 30 days (one daily session).
• Offline: 30 days (UG students) | 45 days | 6 months | up to 12 months (as per CGPDTM’s discretion).
