Purpose
• To acquaint young law students and graduates with the working of the Department of Legal Affairs (DOLA)
• Training includes research, court functioning, legal advice in constitutional, administrative, finance, infrastructure, labour, economic, and contract law
Duration
• September 1 to September 30, 2025
• Full-time, offline internship
Location
• Main Secretariat, New Delhi
• Central Agency Section, Supreme Court
• Litigation HC Section, Delhi
• Branch Secretariats at Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru
Stipend
• Rs. 5,000 (honorarium upon completion)
Eligibility
• Indian students who have passed 2nd year of 3-year LL.B. or 3rd year of 5-year LL.B.
• Law graduates from any recognized university
• Preference to those with knowledge of MS Office, Adobe, infographics, etc.
Certification
• Certificate issued upon successful completion
• 90% attendance and satisfactory remarks from the concerned authority are mandatory
Selection Criteria
• Maximum of 50 interns selected per month
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed via Internship Portal/email
