About the Opportunity
• Organised by NITI Aayog, the apex public policy think tank of the Government of India
• Offers short-term, on-site exposure to the work of NITI’s verticals/divisions/units
• Aims to engage young academic talent in developmental policy issues and functioning of government

• NITI Aayog, New Delhi
Duration
• Minimum 6 weeks, extendable up to 6 months
• Interns not completing the minimum duration will not be issued a certificate
Mode of Internship
• On-site only
Eligibility
• Undergraduate students (after 2nd year/4th semester) with at least 85% in 12th standard
• Postgraduate students (after 1st year/2nd semester) or research/PhD scholars with at least 70% in graduation
• Recent graduates/postgraduates (within six months of result declaration) may also apply if they have scored 70% or more cumulatively
• Open to students from Indian and foreign institutions
Objective
• To familiarize selected candidates with the functioning of Government and NITI Aayog
• Interns will contribute to policy formulation through empirical research, policy briefs, and more
