About the opportunity
• Amazon Legal Department is hiring an Associate Corporate Counsel to support AWS business teams in India
• Role involves legal support for AWS cloud services, customer and partner contracts, and business operations
Roles & responsibilities
• Draft, negotiate, and advise on cloud service agreements across a broad customer base
• Support marketing, training, and consulting activities in India
• Counsel senior management and business teams on legal and regulatory issues
• Manage commercial relationships and participate in broader legal initiatives
Eligibility
• Minimum 3 years of legal experience
• Law degree and license to practice in India and/or recognized international jurisdictions
• Strong transactional drafting and negotiation experience
• Exposure to IT/tech licensing, outsourcing, privacy, and IP law
• Prior in-house or law firm experience in technology law preferred
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
