About the Opportunity
Deloitte USI’s Quality and Risk Management (QRM) team is hiring a Contract Obligations Support Specialist – Manager to strengthen its Operate Obligations Management vertical. The role involves in-depth contract review, translation of complex IT service agreements into actionable tasks, and aligning operational delivery with contractual requirements—helping Deloitte mitigate delivery, regulatory, legal, and reputational risk.
Responsibilities
• Analyze and extract obligations from complex IT operations and managed services contracts
• Translate legal language into clear, business-actionable formats
• Identify contractual restrictions, including onboarding requirements, invoicing standards, performance metrics, and data security/privacy clauses
• Work cross-functionally with legal, delivery, and commercial teams to interpret and action contractual obligations
• Track and monitor obligations using custom platforms
• Develop templates and frameworks for obligation management
• Flag risks, ambiguities, and compliance gaps early in the engagement lifecycle
• Lead process improvement initiatives and mentor junior members
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and deliver ad hoc support in contract risk analysis
Eligibility Criteria
Required:
• Minimum 10+ years post-qualification experience in contract management, compliance, or legal operations
• Bachelor’s degree (BBA/BA/BS) in law, business, or related field
• Strong grasp of legal/commercial contract terms in IT services domain
• Exceptional skills in reading and interpreting legal language
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and basic Excel
• Relationship-building and proactive problem-solving abilities
Preferred:
• Advanced degree in Law or Business (e.g., LLM, MBA)
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems
