Eligibility
• LLB from a reputed Indian law college/university
• Master’s/LLM from reputed Indian or foreign institution preferred
• 4–8 years of post-qualification experience
• Experience in scheduled commercial banks, foreign banks, or law firms preferred
• Strong understanding of Indian laws on lending, security creation, and wholesale banking
Key responsibilities
• Draft, review, and negotiate documents for domestic and cross-border lending transactions
• Coordinate with domestic and international legal counsel
• Vet policies, terms, and product notes for IBU branches and business groups
• Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance and risk
• Monitor and update on legal and regulatory developments affecting the bank
