About the Job
• Google’s Legal team is at the heart of tackling 21st-century information law challenges, and this role places you right in the middle of it all.
• As a Legal Specialist, you’ll be supporting corporate secretarial, compliance, and governance matters for Google subsidiaries across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Expect a mix of legal research, drafting, reviewing, record management, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders — both inside and outside Google.

Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 2 years of legal work experience in a law firm, government, or in-house legal department
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and organize documents effectively
Responsibilities
• Manage and organize information and documentation, draft, review, and manage legal agreements
• Conduct legal reviews, due diligence, and investigations, advising clients on risks and compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external parties on transactional and corporate matters
• Oversee corporate closing mechanics, integrations, reorganizations, and governance compliance matters
• Gather and analyze information in response to discovery, regulatory requests, and diligence matters
• Develop and implement metrics to evaluate processes, policies, and service effectiveness
