About the Internship

The Department of Legal Affairs (DOLA), Ministry of Law & Justice, offers a structured internship to law students and graduates, aiming to provide exposure to legal research, policy work, and government procedures. Interns will engage with departments across New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to law students (LL.B. 3-year/5-year) and recent law graduates.
• Must meet academic merit as per official notification.

Internship Structure

• Duration: 1 month (November 1 to November 30, 2025)
• Locations: New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru
• Intake: 50 interns across all centres
• Stipend: ₹1,000 for the duration

Roles and Responsibilities

• Participate in legal research, policy drafting, and reviewing documents.
• Attend briefings, departmental discussions, and assist with administrative functions of DOLA.

• Fill out the online application form on the DOLA portal by October 10, 2025, 5:00 PM.
• Each candidate must submit only one form; duplicate entries lead to rejection.
• Ensure accurate entry of personal and academic details; incomplete forms will not be considered.
