About the Role
HP is seeking a Regional Legal Counsel for its Gurugram, Haryana office, offering legal support for country management, business units, and functions across India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. The role is responsible for guiding complex, multidimensional projects and transactions and supports legal strategy, local governance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive solutions for commercial transactions, contract drafting and negotiations, and program reviews.
- Review and negotiate diverse contracts: hardware, managed services, software, and professional services for enterprise and public sector customers.
- Advise senior management on legal strategy, risk, and regional issues.
- Monitor regulatory changes to ensure organizational compliance.
- Resolve intricate legal issues through analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
- Mentor junior legal team members and deliver legal training.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
- 8–12 years post-qualification in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and review.
- Advanced knowledge of local/regional law fundamentals with practical business expertise.
- Strong communication, leadership, and legal analytical skills.
