JOB POST: Research Assistant (2 Positions) under DPIIT-IPR Chair at HNLU, Raipur – Salary up to Rs. 67,000 [Apply by Sept 10]
About the opportunity
• Applications are invited for two positions of Research Assistant under the DPIIT-IPR Chair established under the Scheme for Pedagogy and Research in IPRs for Holistic Education and Academia (SPRIHA), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, at Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur.
• The posts will be filled on a contractual consolidated monthly salary basis.
Roles and responsibilities
• Provide research assistance and conduct Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) research in relevant areas of law.
• Develop, plan, execute, and report IPR research in collaboration with universities, institutions, government departments, industrial and economic agencies, and judiciary in India and abroad.
• Participate in planning and development of research, training, and extension programs under the DPIIT-IPR Chair.
• Perform administrative and coordination duties as required for achieving the objectives of the Centre for Innovation & IP Laws (CIIPL).
Eligibility – Essential
• Ph.D. in Law OR Master’s Degree in Law OR B.A., LL.B./LL.B. or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
• Good knowledge of latest national and international research trends in IPR.
• Ability to conceptualize and organize academic programs such as workshops, capacity-building seminars, conferences, etc.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, AI-based tools, plagiarism software, etc.).
Eligibility – Desirable
• Teaching/research experience in premier law universities/colleges in the relevant area with quality publications.
• Strong inter-personal and team-building skills.
• Ability to innovate and improve research, training, and extension activities with new ideas and methods.
Salary
• Ph.D. holders – Rs. 67,000 per month
• LL.M. graduates – Rs. 57,000 per month
• LL.B. graduates – Rs. 47,000 per month

• Appointment is for one year, subject to extension.
