About the opportunity
• AQUILAW is hiring a Senior Associate for its Mumbai team.
• The role involves dispute resolution work, including civil litigation, property disputes, constitutional and contractual matters, and recovery-related litigation.
• Candidates should be skilled in legal research, drafting, case documentation, and compliance with court procedures.
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi is essential.
• The selected candidate will report to Partner Neerav Merchant and the Principal Associate on designated matters.
Eligibility criteria
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Proficient in procedures related to Bombay High Court and City Civil Court.
• Experienced in managing commercial disputes and filing miscellaneous and interim applications.
• Well-versed with commercial laws; basic criminal litigation knowledge is preferred.
• Must be born, brought up, and educated in Mumbai.
