About the opportunity
• Ericsson is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to oversee its corporate and commercial legal functions in India
• Strategic in-house counsel role supporting high-level transactions, compliance, and governance
Roles and responsibilities
• Handle contracts, joint ventures, M&A, governance, and compliance matters
• Draft and negotiate agreements (NDAs, procurement, licensing, CSR, etc.)
• Liaise with external counsel and support litigation/dispute resolution
• Manage secretarial matters, board meetings, and statutory records
• Collaborate with legal, business, and finance teams on strategic legal input
Eligibility criteria
• LL.B. and Company Secretary (CS) qualification – both mandatory
• 15–17 years’ experience in corporate and commercial law (preferably in MNCs or top law firms)
• Strong command over Indian corporate law, contracts, and compliance
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Advantageous: exposure to cross-border laws or labour law
