About the Opportunity
Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), a premier shipbuilding and defense PSU, invites online applications for the position of Senior Manager (Legal). The role involves high-level legal oversight and advisory responsibilities across contracts, arbitration, service, civil, industrial, and taxation matters.
Essential Qualifications
• Educational: Graduate with LL.B. or a 5-year integrated law degree with at least 60% marks from a BCI-recognised university/deemed university/institute.
• Experience: A minimum of 16 years post-qualification experience in handling Arbitration, Contracts, Industrial, Civil, Taxation and Service matters in any of the following roles:
• As legal practitioner in High Courts/Supreme Court on behalf of Govt/PSUs
• Full-time Legal Officer in Central/State Govt/PSUs/Autonomous bodies
• Full-time Legal Officer in a listed private sector company (listed on NSE or BSE Group A & B)
• Judicial Officer in any State’s Judicial Service
• Minimum 10 years as a practicing advocate is acceptable within the 16 years if supported by Bar Council and enrolment certificates.
