• The Legal & Compliance department in Hyderabad is seeking a resourceful candidate to handle legal risks and matters related to contracts, transactions, real estate, litigation, employment, and intellectual property.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in law
• 3 to 4 years of experience in legal roles, especially in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating licensing, technology, and commercial contracts
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, drafting ability, and project management skills
• Preferred: Experience in managing contract lifecycle independently
Responsibilities
• Review and negotiate data and software license agreements, subscription agreements, order forms, and other IP-related contracts
• Draft and negotiate service agreements, consulting contracts, event contracts, engagement letters, and NDAs
• Collaborate with legal teams in other D. E. Shaw offices on agreements and special projects
