Eligibility & Experience

• LLB from reputed Indian law college/university (Master’s/LLM from foreign/reputed domestic institution preferred)
• Experience in scheduled commercial/foreign banks or law firms handling cross-border transactions
• Well-versed in Indian laws on lending, security creation, and wholesale banking
• PQE: 4-8 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and review transaction/security documents for domestic/cross-border lending (familiarity with APLMA/LMA documentation)
• Liaise with external counsels for cross-border transactions across geographies
• Vet product/process notes, policies, terms for IBU branches/business groups
• Analyze statutory/regulatory risks, provide advisories to business teams
• Track and update relevant laws, rules, and regulations

Exclusions

• Only candidates with relevant qualifications/experience considered
• No litigation, retail portfolio, or collection profiles
• No hybrid work; must join Mumbai registered office
