About the opportunity
• LKS is looking to onboard an IPR Litigation Associate to support its growing patent litigation team
• Ideal for candidates passionate about both law and technology
Eligibility
• LL.B. from a recognised university; must be enrolled with a State Bar Council
• BSc/BTech in a technical field like biotechnology, electronics, computer science, or mechanical engineering
• 1–2 years of experience in IP litigation, preferably involving patent cases
• Familiarity with the Patents Act, 1970 and Patent Rules, 2003
• Strong legal drafting, analytical, and technical interpretation skills
Role and responsibilities
• Assist in patent infringement suits, revocation petitions, appeals, and oppositions
• Support filings and research before the Indian Patent Office and courts
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, briefs, and evidence compilations
• Collaborate with technical experts to understand invention-specific nuances
• Monitor updates in Indian and global patent law to inform client advisories
