The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD), Government of India, formulates and administers policies, rules, and laws related to women and child development across the country.

About the Internship
MWCD invites applications from women students, scholars, social activists, and teachers for its Internship Programme. The programme offers exposure to the Ministry’s mandate, policy analysis, and pilot projects/micro-studies focused on women and child development issues.

Eligibility

  • Women students/scholars/social activists/teachers from non-Tier I cities and rural areas of India.
  • Enrolled in/associated with any university/academic/non-academic institution.
  • Age: 21-40 years.

Stipend and Benefits

  • Lump sum stipend: ₹20,000 per month.
  • Travel reimbursement (deluxe/AC bus or 3-tier AC train) for journey to/from Delhi.
  • Hostel facility on sharing basis in Delhi.

Duration, Batches & Seats

  • Duration: 2 months per batch.
  • Batches: May-June, August-September, November-December, February-March.
  • Seats: Up to 20 interns per batch.
  • Location: Delhi.

  • Applications accepted 2 months prior (1st-10th of relevant month).
