MoU signed between DNLU’s CLERA and Ethivara Federation for Responsible AI

Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur, through its Centre for Legal & Economic Regulatory Analysis (CLERA), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ethivara Federation for Responsible AI. The MoU, executed on 25 November 2025, marks a significant step toward strengthening academic and industry collaboration in the rapidly evolving fields of artificial intelligence, data privacy, and technology regulation.

Under the leadership and vision of Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha, Vice-Chancellor, DNLU the MOU was signed by Dr. Praveen Tripathi, Registrar of DNLU, and Kartikeya Rawal, Director at the Ethivara Federation for Responsible AI.

The partnership establishes a framework for joint research projects, teaching initiatives, seminars, conferences, electives, and certificate programs. It reflects a shared commitment to promoting ethical and responsible use of AI while equipping students and professionals with future-ready skills.

The three-year MoU also provides for student mentorship, professional training, and structured recognition of collaborative work. Any financial or academic commitments will be governed through separate project-specific agreements.
