The Voluntary Internship Scheme of the Law Commission of India is aimed at providing undergraduate and postgraduate law students, as well as law scholars, with an opportunity to gain practical experience and a deeper understanding of the Commission’s research-oriented work in the fields of legal reform, law and policy development, and legal system modernisation.

It allows selected candidates to engage directly with the work of drafting, analysis, and review processes that shape Indian legal policy.
Eligibility
- Law students pursuing the 2nd and 3rd year of a three-year LL.B. programme, or the 2nd to 5th year of a five-year integrated law degree course, from any recognised college/law school/university
- LL.B., LL.M., and research students
- A candidate shall be entitled to apply for internship under this Scheme only once during a financial year

Role
- Contract drafting and vetting.
- MCA compliances and corporate governance.
- IP filings, board and shareholder documentation.
- Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams.
Ideal Profile
- Semi-qualified Company Secretary with a Law degree.
- Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on working style.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Location, Work Mode & Days
- Location: Udyog Vihar, Phase 3, Gurugram.
- Work Mode: Work from office.
- Working Days: Monday to Friday.
