About the Opportunity
NITI Aayog, the apex public policy think tank of the Government of India, is inviting applications for its Internship Scheme for the July 2026 batch. Selected interns work closely with NITI Aayog’s various verticals, divisions, and cells on empirical research, policy papers, briefing notes, and data analysis that directly feed into national policy formulation.
Location and Mode
Onsite at NITI Aayog, New Delhi.
Duration
6 weeks.
Eligibility
Open to bonafide undergraduate/postgraduate students and research scholars enrolled in recognised universities or institutions in India or abroad. Undergraduate students must have completed the term-end exams of their 2nd year/4th semester and secured not less than 85% or equivalent marks in Class XII.
Stipend
No stipend. A certificate is issued upon successful completion.
Application Deadline
June 10, 2026. Applications are accepted only between June 1–10 through the official portal.
