About the Opportunity

Mr. Gyan Prakash Kesharwani, practicing advocate specializing in Motor Vehicles Act (MVA/MACT) cases, Consumer Protection Laws, insurance claims and compensation disputes, seeks part-time remote Research Assistants through VidhiAagaz initiative. Assistants support ongoing research projects focused on eradicating fraud and malpractices in MV Act cases.

Key Responsibilities

Legal research and drafting, proofreading, formatting under direct supervision; work related to Motor Vehicles Act, insurance law, consumer protection.

Eligibility

Pursuing/completed law (2nd year onwards) with strong research aptitude; proficiency in Manupatra, SCC Online, HeinOnline, JSTOR; excellent English legal writing; Bluebook/OSCOLA citation knowledge; research methodology understanding; ability to handle confidential info and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Interest/experience in Motor Vehicles Act, Insurance Law, Transportation laws, Consumer Protection, IP Laws; prior legal research experience; publications.

Stipend

₹6,000–₹10,000 per month based on experience, weekly hours, output quality.
