
About the Opportunity
JSW Centre for the Future of Law at NLSIU Bengaluru, established 2024 with JSW Foundation support, advances research on law-technology interface including health-regulation, environment-law, corporate governance, new technologies impact on legal system, profession, education.
Eligibility
Currently enrolled in 3-year/5-year law degree or relevant postgraduate programme; available full-time 40 hours/week on NLSIU campus; strong research/analytical skills; interest in centre’s thematic areas; excellent communication; comfortable with independent tight-timeline work. Term break applicants only; no concurrent commitments.
Duration
Monthly cycles from first to last working day of month, starting May 2026; full-time in-person only, no remote.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist legal/interdisciplinary research (doctrinal, empirical, policy); data collection/analysis/coding/annotation; AI-law projects (LLM evaluation, prompt design, datasets); draft research outputs (reviews, memos, reports, papers); event support (workshops, lectures); administrative tasks.
Stipend
Rs. 15,000 for successful completion.
